There are some many different garden areas … every twist and turns leads to more breathing beauty and an overload of pleasure to your senses as you smell the heavenly scents, see and touch all the different plants and flowers and hear the birds. They took care of our ticketing, one girl complimented my necklace, the other made sure to tell us where to start and guided us towards the map (which was very helpful). The staff was extremely cheerful and friendly. The entrance is very inviting, you can almost sense the beauty that you are about to experience before you even open the doors. I was able to fit in Red Butte Garden on a Sunday afternoon before dinner while visiting Salt Lake City. I like to visit gardens and nature centers while traveling.
And on a Thursday, I barely had to wait for anything, not even Cannibal. It's trying to be a big park, but acting like a small one - with smeary hand stamps, tickets per ride, short queue lines - it just can't handle big crowds. There are two shows - a magician and an Alice in Wonderland pop music show, and both were better than they had any right to be! And the whole pioneer village area is very unique and quiet.īut on the whole - the park is geared towards families, not the biggest thrills. They also have dedicated single rider lines for Wicked and Cannibal, which work really well! Make sure you ask if it's chained off. I also really like Colossus, and love that they have two proper haunted houses. I'd be much more charmed by it if it weren't so expensive! As it is, I really didn't think it was worth it until I rode Cannibal at the end of the day, and that's a properly good ride. If at all possible, try to buy it as part of a bundle, or what it's really geared for - a season pass for local families. Oof Lagoon - it has my begrudging respect, but it's really way too expensive for what it is.
